It all started back in 1997 while working at a factory. At first, the clothes were sold to all the co-workers at the plant out of duffel bags while on breaks. As more and more clothes were being sold, the duffel bag turned into the trunk of a car, and then into a full size conversion van.
By then, business was booming and we needed a store. We leased a small building and kept growing. Soon after that we moved into a new space that was double the size. In 2002 we moved to the current location and the store really started to get busy.
By then, some of our suppliers started refusing to sell us merchandise because of the appearance of the old store. That's when we had to come up with a plan.
We leased a building down the street for 8 months while our old building was demolished and our current store was built. We now have a beautiful new store filled to the top with all the highest quality clothes available. We are proud to serve the Hip-Hop community in Detroit, and we do our best to give back to the area that helped us grow.
